GoLoop was originally created as an API; an optimisation engine that did the heavy lifting when it came to route planning. It was purpose built to plug into fleet management solutions and other types of software. It’s working well too.
But when COVID hit we received so many calls from small businesses who were trying to work out how to deliver to all their customers. For some, Deliveries had gone through the roof and for others it meant complete change from a physical store to online and delivery only.
We realised there was an opportunity to open up the API to more people if we made it more accessible and user friendly. ie. not just an API.
So we have spent the last 4 months creating a web based version of GoLoop that is based on the needs of small and medium businesses.
We have built an online user interface to GoLoop so that anyone can use it, not just the big guys. We’ve tried to make it as intuitive as possible so anyone can plan their deliveries in minutes. We’ve removed some of the complexities of the API from the web version to make it as simple and easy to use.
And we have seen the impact. Clients that have signed up to the web version have been able to manage their deliveries much faster than before they were using GoLoop.
We know it’s not perfect and we have a long way to go, but we are proud of what we have built so far and we are excited to see where we can take this web version of GoLoop.
