The GoLoop team have been nose to the grindstone for the past 2 months and have added some fantastic new features to make GoLoop even better.

Here are three exciting new features that we’ve added to GoLoop:

  • Avoid tolls
  • Arbitrary start and stop locations
  • Multiple vehicle profiles

Avoid tolls

Yep, you guessed it. The Avoid Tolls feature allows you to run jobs you can toggle tolls on and off for any number of vehicles.
This feature is available at the global level as well at the individual vehicle level giving the ultimate flexibility.
For our existing clients, this parameter is not mandatory so leaving it out of the input file will apply the default setting of false.
Which means all of your previous jobs will run perfectly and will include toll routes by default.

Arbitrary start and stop locations

Arbitrary start and stops allows your vehicles to complete their day when the get to their last job.

This means certain vehicles can be set so they no longer needed to return to base if they don’t need to. This feature allows you to specify whether your vehicles must to finish at the depot or whether they finish when they complete their last stop.

Just like the Avoid Tolls feature, these parameters are not mandatory. Leaving them out of the input file will apply the default setting of false which means any of your legacy jobs will default to false.

Vehicle profiles

We’ve extended GoLoop’s capabilities to include not just drive times and routes for HGV but also drive times and routes for cars.
As you know, there can be subtle difference between HGV and car driver times. Now you can specify vehicle profiles at the global level or at the individual vehicle.

What’s next in the pipeline?

We’ve got a tonne of features and amazing enhancements on the backlog, so stay tuned for our next release.
